The Bills decided to bench Tyrod Taylor in the middle of a playoff run for backup Nathan Peterman. Taylor had struggled in the Bills previous two games, but it didn’t seem like it merited him being usurped on the depth chart by a virtually unknown commodity. However, Sean McDermott pressed forward with the move.
That move blew up in the Bills face in the first half of their week 11 matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers, as Nathan Peterman threw 5 interceptions in the first half of the matchup, a number that topped Tyrod Taylor’s interception total for the entire season thus far.
